Eligibility Criteria for JKSSB Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification

  • ASO (Chemistry & Toxicology): Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or Forensic Science with at least 50% marks.
  • ASO (Documents): Master’s in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Forensic Science with minimum 50% marks.
  • ASO (Crime Scene): Master’s in Forensic Science.
  • Assistant Superintendent Jail: Graduation + PG Diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Criminology.
    Physical Standards:
    • Male: Height 5’6”, Chest 32–33.5 inches
    • Female: Height 5’2”
  • Computer Assistant: One-year Diploma in Computer Applications / BCA / B.Sc. IT / 3-year Diploma from AICTE-recognized institute.
  • Laboratory Attendant: 10+2 with Science (Mathematics or Biology).

Age Limit

  • General Category – Maximum 40 Years
  • Reserved Category – Maximum 43 Years

Selection Process

  • Written Test/OMR Based Exam – for all posts
  • Physical Standard Test – mandatory for Assistant Superintendent Jail
  • No Interviews – Recruitment will be based only on written and physical tests
