Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Junior Linguist (Dogri) post must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Possess an MA in Dogri.
  • Strong knowledge of Dogri spellings and grammar.
  • Ability to type in Unicode Devanagari script at a speed of 20–25 words per minute.
  • Candidates with M.Phil or Ph.D. in relevant field will receive additional marks.
  • Previous experience in linguistics or translation work will carry extra weightage.

Selection Process

The selection will be completely merit-based, conducted through a computer-based test. The test will evaluate candidates on translation, proofreading, typing skills, and grammar.

Mark Distribution:

  • Computer Test: 50 Marks
  • Basic Qualification: 50 Marks
  • Ph.D.: 10 Marks
  • M.Phil: 5 Marks
  • Experience: Up to 10 Marks

Applicants must carry their original documents, two passport-size photographs, and a valid ID proof on the test day. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the test.
